Lanre Adefioye was born in Lagos, Nigeria. His art is inspirational and philosophical, upon completion of his bachelor's degree in Graphics, Lanre searched  and experimemted restlessly for new ways to depict his art. Traditional African geometric shapes inspired his interest, thereby combining traditional African geometric shapes with modern symbols, which he describe as "Perfect - Imperfect". His style is bold, innovative and modern. Lanre carries his creative research into the emotional and psychological properties of colour, line and shape.

"We have to surround ourselves with beauty that is therapeutic to heal the emotional and physical health" says the artist.

Lanre offers you original art works and limited edition giclees from his studio in Ontario Canada. His art is found in numerous private and corporate collections around the world.
